Enterprise Data Center Forum

The Enterprise Data Center Forum is a mutually interactive exchange of knowledge and experience between those who have experienced substantial success in the operation of their enterprise level critical data center facilities.

Participants interact frequently via e-mail, phone, and through a secured website; quarterly by conference call; and twice annually in person. Candid group discussions are the Forum's focal point. Conferences are conducted at participant's locations and include a tour of the host's facility. Participants are able to collectively leverage proven and new technologies and processes to achieve highly reliable and efficient data center operations.

By maintaining an open dialogue with accomplished peers, participants apply the latest information available to optimize continuous operation. Most participating companies involve individuals from IT and Network roles in addition to their Facilities team members, so more valuable perspectives are gained on the majority of the topics discussed.

Through discussions and Advance Warning notices volunteered by members, participants also learn of infrastructure equipment problems to be aware of—before they became an issue at their data center(s).
